About the Bands:
Still Life Still
“Some music demands you sit up and pay attention and this is one of those LPs, “ says Groovemine.com. Still Life Still was
formed in 1999, eventually getting signed to a Canadian indie label Arts & Crafts. Still Life Still are among favourite local indie
rockers who have recorded with Broken Social Scene’s Kevin Drew and Martin Davis Kinack, toured with acts such as The
Most Serene Republic and The Hold Steady and appeared on MTV Live.
Combining live drums, synth keys and electric guitar with soulful vocals and tight rapping TINY DANZA has a signature
sound that unifies the best elements of both electronic and acoustic music. They hail from Toronto, Ontario and are a
perfect blend of hip-hop, dance and r&b.
This past summer the punk inspired Toronto quarter Teenage X have self-released a debut album under the title of Drink
Dance Destroy. Described by Gasolone Magazine as a “self-styled punk anthem generator and makes no bones of its rock
lineage“, Teenage X is a band that makes punk rockers admit they like pop music.
